With this grant the renovation of the lighting installations of the <strong>Mecace<\/strong> ship was undertaken, applying LED technology in the luminaires of the same, which replace the old metal halide bells.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, <strong>70 metal halide luminaires of 400W were replaced<\/strong> by new LED luminaires, with powers between 100W and 200W. This change represents a decrease in the installed capacity of 17.7 kW, which in percentage terms means a reduction of 55% in the power used for lighting.
