The debate was about the <strong>present and the future of the naval, maritime and port sector<\/strong>. The congress was organized by <a href=\"https:\/\/asime.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Asime<\/a>, the Galician Association of Metal industries and Associated Technologies for which <strong>Rebeca Acebron,<\/strong> CEO of Acebron es Group is its Vice President.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The congress, which was a success, brought together the main international players in the industry and was developed digitally. There were <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">inspirational talks from leaders around the world offering the opportunity to connect with other companies and potential collaborators. We were able to listen to renowned speakers such as <strong>Ignacio Guti\u00e9rrez Santalo<\/strong>, the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Development Coordinator of E\u00f3lica Marina Espa\u00f1a for Iberdrola or <strong>Jorge Filgueira<\/strong>, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Director of Astilleros R\u00eda de Ferrol for Navantia, among many.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=&#8221;7473&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some of the talk topics were <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the <strong>decarbonisation challenges and blue economy, upskilling, ship design<\/strong>, batteries for ship electrification, new fuels, green ports and intelligent logistics that are promoting a more sustainable supply chain.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=&#8221;7469&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_column][\/vc_column]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday the new reference forum Maritime Trends was held.
