Although the first evidence of a woman enrolled in higher education was in the 15th century, but until 1785 we didn&#8217;t find well-known people, which\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to data from the Institute for Women, although more than half of university students in Spain are women, <\/span><b>they only represent one in four enrollments in careers related to science, technology, engineering and mathematics<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (STEM careers). This statistic tells us that, although important steps have been taken in promoting equal.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3><b>Our Commitment<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although Law 3\/2007 does not oblige companies with less than 250 workers to have an Equality Plan, <\/span><b>Mecanizados Acebron feels fully committed to Equality<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and therefore, it has adopted a set of measures, after carrying out of a diagnosis of the existing situation, which aims to achieve equality between women and men and eliminate possible discrimination, establishing the specific objectives to be achieved, the strategies and practices to be adopted to achieve them, and monitoring systems.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Our goal<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The final goal that the company intends to achieve with the implementation of an Equal Opportunity Plan for women and men is to <\/span><b>promote equal opportunities in the organization and eliminate direct and indirect discrimination based on gender. This can be possible <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">through the incorporation of the gender perspective as an strategic principle of the company&#8217;s corporate policy.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20px&#8221;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;9786&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20px&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Purpose of our equality plan<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To guarantee equal treatment between women and men in the selection processes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Non-discriminatory use of language, communication and advertising.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Projection of a company image in accordance with the principle of equality.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Conciliation of personal and work life.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prevention and action against sexual harassment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Equality in professional classification.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Presence of women in positions of responsibility.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Encouraging female empowerment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Collaborate in the prevention of gender violence.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20px&#8221;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;9790&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20px&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3><b>Actions carried out to make our equality plan happen<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><strong><b>Creation of the parity equality committee of the<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The main\u00a0 Committee\u00b4s\u00a0<\/span>responsibility\u00a0is to <b>create a space for dialogue and fluid communication<\/b>, in such a way that all the agreements and measures adopted throughout the development of the program are carried out with the consensus of both parties.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<b>Awareness raising and internal communication\u00a0<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a transversal measure to facilitate the level of involvement of the workforce, an awareness day was held on equal opportunities, generating debate on basic concepts of equality and receiving opinions on the matter.
