The Wärtsilä team has worked in the last years to improve the design and manufacture of parts called “TUBES” which are designed to facilitate the maneuverability of the ship by keeping it at a fixed point during offshore operations, Piston that can remove the nozzles from inside the helmet or store them as needed.

In addition, all closure devices, platforms, piping and hydraulic displacement devices have been manufactured in the Vigo and Porriño plants, which allow the equipment to operate.

At ACEBRON GROUP we are proud to have been part of the project as partners of Wärtsilä Ibérica for the machining of the 4 Tubes and other critical elements of the equipment. It has been a challenge to mechanize these pieces, both for their giant dimensions, 2.6 m in diameter, 8 meters in length and 30 tones (weight before assembly of the equipment and internal components) and for their high quality requirements, which We have managed to deal with success and great satisfaction on the part of our client.
